1.  Hammock Camping Class

Date: Saturday February 1st
Time:  9:00-12:00 Cost: free
Leader: Mr. Rector

Location: Forest Ridge Park meet in the large shelter by the playground.  
Activity:   Hammock  camping class for anyone who wants to sleep in their hammock on camping trips.  You must be hammock certified to sleep in your hammock.  If you have already had this class you do not need to attend, but you are welcome to come for a refresher.   
2.  Troop Hike
Date: Saturday February 15th Time: 10:30- 1:30 (approximate)Distance: 5-6 miles Trail: Mountain to Sea Trail Leader: Mr. Rabon
Sign up: No RSVP required
Location: Meet at the Falls Lake Visitor Assistance Center (11405 Falls of Neuse Road).  Be Prepared: Weather appropriate clothing and your 10 essentials.  

3.  Railroad Merit Badge Camping Trip

You will work on the merit badge in the morning and have free time to explore in the afternoon.  If you like trains this is a trip for you!
